Making Memories Through Quilts
Hello! My name is Wanda Black and I’m passionate about quilting! I’ve been quilting for over 30 years and still going strong. Now that I have enough quilts for all the beds in my house and for my friends beds, I’d like to do some quilting for you.
Quilting Your Quilt Tops
I have a Gammill LongArm quilting machine and would like to help you finish your quilts. If you have a quilt top (or several quilt tops) in your sewing room, let me help you finish those by quilting them for you. Then you can move on to your next quilt project – guilt free!
My pantograph quilting will enhance your quilt top and get you on the road to completing the quilt. I have a variety of quilt threads and pantograph patterns to choose from. I can also do free motion quilting along with some ruler work.
I use the best quality materials and threads in all my quilting. I’ll care for your quilt and work on it as if it were my own.
Please see my Brochure page for the estimated cost to quilt your quilt top.
T-shirt and Jersey Quilts
I also make t-shirt quilts. This is such a wonderful and creative way to keep those memories alive. These can be t-shirts from sporting events, clubs or sororities, or even your favorite bands.
I offer 3 Styles of t-shirt quilts that offer you a variety of layouts based on the number of shirts you have and size of the logos. I also make hockey jersey quilts. These can be quite challenging to work with considering the size of the logos and front laces. Check out my pictures page and see just how amazing these quilts really are!
Memory Quilts
A memory quilt is made from a loved ones clothing. Using this persons clothing, such as button down shirts, t-shirts, flannel PJ’s, baby blankets, actually anything that can be put in the washer and dryer, can be used to make a memory quilt. Please see my photos page to see some of the possibilities. I can also make memory teddy bears or memory pillows.
Hope to hear from you soon!
Take care.

Learn about the business of being a professional machine quilter
Hi Wanda! I got your name from my stepmother’s sister, Patsy Bemish. I am thinking of having another tshirt quilt made. A coworker made one for me and I just love it, but it isn’t quite long enough for naps. 🥰 Your quilts look much more professionally made, as she just sews as a hobby. The thing I love about the one I have is, she also used tshirt material on the back of the quilt which made it extra soft and cozy. Is this something you could do? Also where are you located? Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks!

Hi Jenny,
I would love to make a t-shirt quilt for you. They are so cozy and filled with memories.
No, I don’t use t-shirts on the back, but there is a huge selection of great fabrics for the backing.
If you’re interested, please send me an email at wandablack52@gmail.com so I can capture your email address and send you some additional information.
Looking forward to hearing from you,
Wanda
